Xm07 tail switch, and recently replaced the bulb with a 2000 lumen replacement for 10 bucks that is like turning on the sun. Cheap Surefire/used Aimpoints > everything else all day, everyday

If the striker releases from the sear the striker safety should catch it preventing the round from going off.

Man that's so sad.....back in the day stream light made some decent kit under that l3/eotech/insight umbrella, and the TLR-1 was like the shit for a mid priced light without reverting to a gtl10 or M3 125 lumen light.

Even if it technically isn’t the worst, it kinda still is because we’ve come to expect mid tier quality from SL…..I’d ALMOST recommend an Olight over this thing.

I have a very niche case of the Somogear. It's on my suppressed 300 blackout that recoils very softly, which might be the reason it has lasted me over 2k rounds with no issues. No re-zeroing, no technical difficulties, it just works. I wouldn't trust this thing as a paperweight, but at the least I can larp at night and the full power is a lot of fun. Not very safe though.

I guess I got really lucky. I haven't touched it since that class plus part of the pa class when the psa went down. It's been beat around the farm every day. I can still hit night critters no problem. I haven't been on paper in a while, but it still fills my needs. I bought another unit but haven't really used it. It's unfortunate really, after my experience I was sold but I seem to be the exception.

Question because i haven’t had time to test this out myself. The old A8 bullseye targets around 2019-2020 time frame had this thing on the back of the target that said for a TA-01 RCO and the CCO, you have to offset 11 clicks low at 25M to zero the crosshair for 100M. It went on to say, for a 300M zero in the TA-31 RCO to adjust 16 clicks low of POI to properly zero for 300M which places the shot group right at the bottom of the black on the A8 zero target. The logic is guess makes sense because of the magnification, but i don’t feel comfortable telling joes to zero like that without shooting it myself and confirming it at 300M. I should also note the left side of this sheet had a column specified offsets for M855A1 and the right column outlined offsets for M855. It even had a thing with POA/POI circles drawn on the target where you could fold the paper hot dog style, hold it up to the soldier’s target and see where the offset is compared to center of diamond. BUT the 16 click/8 MOA circle for the TA-31 is not present. Is this anywhere near correct?

I'm glad I picked up a good NGAL. 3 years of use so far, 4 different rifles, full auto, and pretty scrarched up. It's still good 🤙 will it break later, maybe, but hey, till that day happens, I'll keep rocking it.

I think the Laserspeed stuff is the new cost effective solution. The M6TR looks like a fantastic unit and has a crane plug. Can be had for right around 1k.
